Connecting Communities – Generations Together

Generations Together provide support in our community with connectedness so that both children and young people develop supportive relationships with others and build confidence, respect and resilience.  This helps to foster skills, improves feelings of safety, and raises aspirations.

The socialisation of children with elderly residents through diverse and rich environments, helps to develop children’s social and cultural capital and broadens their understanding of the wider world, and themselves as individuals.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Our Teddy Bears’ Picnics are a fun and welcoming way to introduce children to the joy of reading. Each child is invited to bring along their favourite teddy for stories and a picnic, and they get to take home a brand-new book to keep. These special events help build early literacy skills, encourage a love of books, and create happy memories for families in our community.

Inspire Me

Our Inspire Me sessions give children the chance to meet inspiring people in the classroom from different walks of life. From artists and entrepreneurs to scientists and community leaders, these sessions open young minds to new ideas, careers, and possibilities. By hearing real stories and asking their own questions, children begin to see what’s possible for their own future.
